New Robex Board Members

Robex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: RBX / FWB: RB4) has announced the nomination of Mr. Andre Vezina and Mr. Michel Doyon to its Board of Directors.

They will replace Mr. Andre Gagne and Mr. Peter Hawley, who have stepped aside to make room for them. This decision will allow Mr. Gagne to dedicate all his time and effort to his role as CEO of the company and to leading Robex towards the achievement of its ultimate goal of becoming a gold producing company. As for Mr Hawley, he will continue to act as a consultant for Robex.

Mr. Andre Vezina

Mr. Vezina has a long history with Robex. Not so long ago, for a five-year period, he was Robex’s vice-president and, while at that position, his contributions were very significant. His demonstrated skills and abilities in the sphere of capital raising and his deep understanding of the company’s needs and capabilities will now be again a considerable asset for Robex. M. Vezina comes with a strong business administration background, especially with respect to financial and human resources management. Furthermore, Robex will greatly benefit from his vast business experience and his strong network of influence in the country of Mali. In 2004, Mr Vezina was appointed Commercial Attache for the Republic of Mali. He is also president and founder of Mali Oil Development, a company based in Mali’s capital city of Bamako, and co-founder of Mali Energy, now operating under the name of Centric Energy Corp (TSX-V: CTE), a company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) with offices in Vancouver and London. As well, Mr. Vezina is currently involved in investor relations for listed company Scorpio Mining Corp (TSX: SPM), while having played that role before for Niogold Mining Corp (TSX-V: NOX). Aside from his business-orientated roles, Mr. Vezina was recently nominated Honorary Colonel of the 55 Field Ambulance.

Mr. Michel Doyon

Michel Doyon, chief executive of the Godefroy Laviolette Foundation, is an experienced manager who has made his mark while working in the food processing industry for a span of more than 20 years. During that period, he sat on the Boards of Multi-Marques inc., a giant of the bakery industry, and Ben’s Bakery in Nova Scotia. He is currently involved as a director on the Board of the Godefroy Laviolette Foundation and on the Board of Cle Leasing, a business specializing in lease financing.
